AI Build Kickstart

Get a stalled software build moving.

For founders and directors who have paid for months of development and still have nothing they can show a customer. We gather everything your business already knows into one place, turn it into clear decisions and a plan, then build the first working version with your team using AI, and leave them set up to keep going.

How we get you moving

  1. Everything in one bucket

We gather what your business already knows, from decks, specs and emails to meeting notes and the code you have. Our AI tooling sifts it into the decisions you have made, the ones still open and what makes you different. You check every line.

  2. Decisions and a plan

A plain-English decision record every developer and AI agent works from, and a short plan that puts something usable in front of people within six weeks.

  3. Build it together

We set your team up to build with AI agents safely, then build the first working version with them. You see a demo you can click every week.

  4. Hand it over

Your team carries on with the same setup. We stay on call, or keep building with you if that is what you want.

Momentum you can see.

  1. A decision record: your business decisions in plain English, the brief for every developer and AI agent

  2. A plan with the first usable version within six weeks, and what comes after

  3. A first working version people can click and test

  4. Your team set up to build with AI agents, with safe checks and review rules

  5. A weekly demo rhythm, so you always know where things stand

  6. A clean handover, with your code and data in accounts you own

Who this is for

Founders, directors and investors in a software product who want to see momentum for their money. It suits teams with an idea and some code but no working product yet, and businesses that want to start building with AI but don’t know where to begin.

Why AI alone doesn’t fix it

AI can write code remarkably fast. But it only knows what you tell it, and most of what makes your business different lives in people’s heads, old emails and half-finished documents. Point AI at that mess and you get confident, wrong software, faster.

The other half of the problem is the way of working. The standard tools and habits most teams use were built for people writing a few changes a week, not AI agents writing dozens a day. Without changing how work is checked and approved, AI just makes the queue longer.

So we fix both: your decisions first, then a workflow built for AI. We run our own business this way, and we have written up what we learned in vibe engineering, why test results aren’t the measure, why GitHub wasn’t built for AI agents and to branch or not to branch.

From our own build pipeline

What slows teams down, and what we do instead.

  • Building the engine before anyone can drive

Many projects build the whole back end first. Months pass, the money goes, and nobody can try anything.

What we doWe build thin slices that work from end to end, a screen someone can actually use, and ship one every week or two. Momentum you can see.

  • Tools built for people, not AI agents

GitHub's way of working assumes one person makes a change and waits for another to review it. AI agents make dozens of small changes a day, and the queue grinds. When we measured our own agents, about 60% of our automated test runs were wasted just keeping changes in sync.

What we doWe stack small changes on top of each other, let automated checks do the first review, and merge in order. We rebuilt our own workflow this way.

  • Every change waits for the same person

When one senior person must approve everything, they become the bottleneck, and approvals turn into rubber stamps.

What we doWe sort changes by risk. People approve what cannot be undone: payments, logins, customer data. Reliable checks handle the rest, and an AI never approves its own work.

  • AI without your decisions

AI agents only know what has been written down. Give them a vague brief and they produce confident, wrong software, quickly.

What we doThat is why we start with your decision record. Clear decisions in, useful software out.

  • Feeling fast is not being fast

In one study, experienced developers using AI took 19% longer on their tasks while believing they were about 20% faster. Busy is not the same as progress.

What we doWe measure working features in front of users, and whether a senior engineer would accept each change. Not hours, not lines of code.

  • Checks that fight each other

Automated checks are meant to keep quality up. Set up badly, they contradict each other and block work for hours.

What we doWe keep checks few, reliable and tested together, so they speed your team up instead of tripping it.

Common questions

Do we have to replace our developer?

No. We work with the people you already have. Usually the developer is not the problem; the way of working is. We set them up to move faster and take the bottlenecks out.

We're not technical. Will we understand what's going on?

Yes. You get your decisions in plain English and a demo you can click every week. Progress is measured in things customers can use, not in technical terms.

What does "agentic development" actually mean?

AI agents write and check much of the code, following rules your team sets. People decide what gets built and approve anything risky. Done well, a small team builds what used to need a large one.

We've already built a back end. Is that wasted?

Rarely. We look at what you have in the first week and reuse what is sound. The usual fix is to connect it to something people can use, quickly.

Is our data and idea safe?

We sign an NDA before we start. Your code and data stay in accounts you own, and we use AI tools on terms that do not train models on your information.

How long does it take, and what does it cost?

Typically six weeks from the first conversation to a working version, with a fixed quote agreed before we start. If we finish sooner, you get it sooner.

What happens after the kickstart?

Your team carries on with the same setup. If you want more, we can stay on as part-time product leadership or keep building agents and features with you.

Where to start

AI Build Kickstart

Fixed scope and quoted before we start: the one-bucket onboarding, your decision record, a plan, and the first working version built with your team. Typically six weeks; if we finish sooner, you get it sooner.

After the kickstart, we can keep building with you through Agentic AI and Product Leadership.
