AI Bookkeeper
Our AI bookkeeper turns the records you already have, Xero, emailed supplier invoices and bank statements, into a clear picture of what each product costs to make and sell. It flags supplier price rises, products whose margin has slipped and where you can save, and hands your accountant a clean, documented pack.
How we do itOur own AI tooling does the reading and matching across every invoice and statement; we check every result before you see it.
- Read-only access to Xero
- Works from records you already have
- Works alongside your accountant

What it does
Builds a price book from your invoices
Every supplier invoice in your inbox becomes rows: item, pack size, unit price, date. Over months that becomes a price history for every input, so a 4% rise in March and another in July stop hiding inside a bigger bill.
Costs every product you sell
From recipes, product builds or bills of materials: ingredients or parts, packaging, and the share of freight and fees each product carries. Inputs without an invoice are valued from usage, so nothing drops out.
Finds where margin slipped
With cost next to selling price, the problem products stand out: inputs that went up while the price stayed put, and products that were never as profitable as they looked.
Checks your prices against the market
Your price for each product next to what competitors charge for the same item and pack size. It shows where you are cheaper than you need to be, and where you are losing sales on price.
Finds savings across suppliers
The same item at different prices from different suppliers, pack sizes that cost more per unit, and categories worth putting out to quote. Each saving is ranked by its value over a year.
Checks the books hold together
Bank balances that chain from one statement to the next, gaps in statements, invoices that never matched a payment. Documented, so your accountant starts from clean, explained records.

Illustrative, not a forecast. Margin lost is the part of today's spend that is price rise you haven't passed on. Getting it back means repricing, which can cost some sales. The two figures can overlap where a cheaper supplier also undoes a rise. Both are uneven by supplier and category in practice, which is what the price book shows. Nothing you enter leaves this page.
Cost is half of profit
Revenue work, like Google Ads, search and the checkout, tells you what’s selling. Cost work tells you what each sale is worth. Put together, you can stop promoting the products that sell well but earn little, which is the idea behind our growth page.

Field notes
Common questions
Do you compare our prices with competitors?
Yes. We match your products to competitors' listings by item and pack size, so you can see where you're priced below the market and where price is costing you sales. Combined with your real costs, that answers the question that matters: should we reprice?
What is an AI bookkeeper?
Software that does the reading and matching a person would otherwise do by hand: pulling every supplier invoice, matching it to your accounts and bank, and turning it into product costs and margins. We run it for you and check its work, so you get the answers without the data entry.
Does it replace my bookkeeper or accountant?
No. It works alongside them. Your accountant still handles tax and lodgements. We give them cleaner records and a documented trail, which usually makes their job faster.
Which accounting software does it work with?
Xero directly, with read-only access. Other systems work from exports. Supplier invoices come from your email or supplier portals, and bank statements from PDF or CSV.
What kinds of businesses is it for?
Businesses that buy a lot of different inputs from many suppliers: hospitality, food production, retail and ecommerce. The more suppliers and products you have, the more there is to find.
Is my financial data safe?
We use read-only access, keep your data in your own accounts, and work from copies for analysis. Nothing about your business is shared or used for anyone else.
Where to start
Cost and margin review
Fixed scope: a price book of every input, a cost for each product, a ranked savings list and an accountant-ready pack.
After the review, we build the fixes as part of Systems Integration and Agentic AI.
